In today’s world when Mother Nature is facing ever new challenges from industrialization, to choose ‘eco’ is not just an ethical choice. It also speaks about our aesthetic preferences and healthy lifestyledsf.
The diversity of influences and our personal choices is enormous. Our concerns about a greener planet are as much about our natural desire of good taste as they are about safety and sustainability. Umberto Eco, the brilliant author and thinker, wrote: the beauty of the universe consists not only of unity in variety, but also of variety in unity. And indeed, our end-of-the-day experience is the sum of multiple nuances and dimensions.
In our philosophy ‘eco’ is about beauty. It is about our choice to think, work and live clean and beautiful. Our contribution to a more beautiful world is our eco log homes or cabins – eco-friendly, sustainable, with outstanding acoustic and thermal qualities. While wood is beautiful by itself, carpentry is a skill and tradition of bringing out timber’s natural qualities and creating additional value. Today carpentry is about being ‘smart’ in the widest sense of the meaning.
In our daily work-day of cutting andsfdsdf processing wood, designing and building log homes, we have our coffee-breaks with insightful and thought-provoking discussions about nature, people, technology, traditions of hand-craft.
We have decided to keep a blog and share some of our reflections and experience. Stay with us for more news next week!
